stomp and glug, glug

STOMP was fun! Jude made us a yummy dinner, and we made it to The Paramount with out any issues. Kelsey was pleasantly surprised that she liked it-there was humor and audience participation. I knew Michael would love it, and he did. Seeing it for the third time for me was just as enjoyable as the first! Sorry about the poor photo quality.

I almost made it through Pat's entire absence without an issue. ALMOST! Saturday, two nights before he was due home, I was adding new water to the fish tank for the second time since he had left. It glugged, glugged away as normal. But when I walked back into the room a few minutes later the carpet was soaked all around the tank. Crap! Long story short, we figured that the flow switch was plugged up and was sensing that the tank needed the extra water, when it did not. Of course trying to connect with Pat at a nine hour time difference was interesting. By our Sunday morning, and his Sunday evening we were able to chat via Skype. We were even able to do an audio chat. So very cool to talk to someone, so clearly, when that person is in Berlin, Germany!!
Pat made it home safely. He enjoyed the Berlin area, and brought the kids home each a piece of the Berlin Wall. We are also enjoying some delicious chocolate. yummmm.

This week we finished the cross country season with the banquet. Kelsey was voted to be the girl's captain next year.    :)

Kelsey has decided that being a curtesy clerk at Albertsons is just not for her. She gave her two weeks notice, yesterday. Michael is planning on staying on there, and hopes to get some extra hours there over the Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks.

Well, that is about it. Here are a couple of pictures from last Friday. Kathryn is wearing an awesome bib (and no, I did not buy it). Ryan is wearing another former Michael shirt. So hard to believe my kiddos were this size once.
