Well, the time has come to once again say goodbye to our 1993 Ford Escort. We bought the car new in 1993, as our family car. This is Michael in the yard of our rental house in Shoreline:
We sold the car when we upgraded to our 1999 Grand Caravan. Years later, and after a couple owners, we heard it was just sitting somewhere, needing a few repairs. So, we bought it back, Pat fixed it up so it could eventually be the kids' car.
It has definitely been a great car for us, on multiple levels. But as you all know, we bought the kids a new car for Christmas. And, so we say goodbye again to the Escort. A young family bought it as their 2nd car. I hope they get some good memories from it too.
