The 45th annual Edmonds Invitational was on Saturday. This is the longest consecutive xc invite running in the state of Washington. Our kids did well. All of them! It was a nice sunny day (a little warm for runners, but great for spectators!) The guys team placed 4th overall, and the girls also placed 4th. There were 8 schools representing. As a combined team, our high school placed 3rd! There will be three new trophies for MTHS! Michael is running in the #2-3 spot for our guys team.
Kelsey ran in the #8-10 alternates race. She had a good "breathing" day, finishing first in her race!! Her time places her in the #5 spot for our girls team. It will be a race by race type of year. I just hope for more good days than bad.
Today we head to Enumclaw for a day of pictures. Family pictures and Michael's senior pictures, by our friend Kaycee. Thank goodness it is not raining, as we planned for an outdoor sitting.
