As I suspected, this season will consist of good running days and not so good running days. The kids had a meet at Kamiak high school on Thursday, then an invitational at South Whidbey high school on Saturday.
Michael is rotating in the #2-#3 spot for the varsity guys. He is having good days.
Kelsey had a good race on Thursday, staying in the #5 spot. However, Saturday ended up being not a good day for her. She loves the course, and the rainy weather is her favorite to run in, but her "breathing" was way off, and she couldn't keep racing. Hopefully she can put this behind her, and go back to good days: one race at a time......
