it's mid-August..where does the time go?

First of all, I want to wish my youngest sister, Kerri, a very happy birthday! It was on the 10th.

This week should be titled "hotel O'Neill." At one point this week we had three dogs, our family of four, Kerri and Eric, and also, my 2 year old nephew, Ryan, all staying the night. It was a full house, but it all worked out. It was fun having Ryan around for a couple days. (See Krista's blog for the details) He is in a hugging phase. He would go around the room hugging us all, including the dogs. He can't quite say some of the names right. He gets Joey, then Bear sounds like "Bo", and Mango, for some reason, is "Fugu"??!!

Here is the dog feeding area: from left to right: Mango (our dog), Joey (Krista's dog), and Bear (a friend's dog). All the dogs got along, or should I say, ignored or tolerated each other's presence.
