Kelsey and I were up and at Greenlake by 7 am today. We participated in a 5K (3.1 mile) run as a mother/daughter team. This is our third year attending this event. We did not "race" because Kelsey is currently in the cross country program at her school, and Sundays are supposed to be easy days. We still managed to finish as the 13th team out of 100! I have so much fun sharing this sport with my kids! I can't keep up with Michael anymore, and I think Kelsey will be leaving me in the dust soon. :-)
