Macho Volleyball

Well, last night ended up as a very fun evening.  Michael and some friends (mostly from the cross country team) signed up last week to be in a boys only volleyball tournament.  Each of the schools in our district is doing this, then the top two teams of each school will move on to finals in December.  So, Mountlake Terrace had six teams.  After over two hours, it was Michael's team "The Dominators" against the "You Can Dig It" senior only team.  Well the seniors took the school championship title, but our boys were the number two in the school. I can't wait for the next tournament on the 10th!  It looks like the runners can also play volleyball.  :-)  The schools are using this fun tournament as their fall food drive, to support our local food bank.  I believe we had over 1000 cans of food donated last night.
